CARE PLAN - ADJUSTMENTS
A chiropractic adjustment is the treatment to realign the spine or other joints in the body in order to correct misalignments.
- Diversified technique: This is the most common chiropractic technique, which involves the use of high-velocity, low-amplitude thrusts to adjust the spine.
- Thompson technique: This technique involves the use of a special table with drop pieces that adjust the spine as the table drops.
- Activator technique: This technique uses a handheld instrument that delivers a low-force, high-speed adjustment to the spine.
- Touch and hold technique: This technique is a gentle chiropractic method that involves a light touch and holding it for a few seconds mainly for infants and children.
Each technique has its own unique benefits and may be more appropriate for certain patients depending on your individual needs and preferences.
